About KOI

What is Keepers of the Innocent?

KOI is a family of bikers dedicated to standing beside children and families impacted by trauma, hardship, and unimaginable life experiences. We are not a program or a campaign. We show up, and we stay. Learn more about the Keepers.

Why do you call the kids Gladiators?

Our kids call themselves Gladiators because they are strong, resilient, and still standing. The Keepers are there through the good, the hard, the bad, and the ugly, walking through the storm together.

Is KOI a registered nonprofit?

Yes. Keepers of the Innocent is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 92-0994454, Florida Registration No. CH80591. Links to our Charity Navigator profile, IRS verification, and the Florida Check-A-Charity lookup are in the footer of every page.

Is KOI run by volunteers?

Yes. KOI is a volunteer-based organization. We do our best to respond as quickly as possible, but response times may vary depending on events, outreach, and active support situations.

KOI offers emergency assistance and Fresh Start Bags, court presence, and therapy assistance, and also shows up for celebrations and community events. See how the Keepers show up.

What if KOI cannot directly help with my situation?

Every situation is different. If KOI cannot directly assist, we will always do our best to help connect you with trusted resources and support.

What should I do if a child or family is in immediate danger?
