What We Do

How the Keepers Show Up

KOI shows up during difficult moments, celebrations, court appearances, community events, and everyday life. When more help is needed, we connect children and families with trusted organizations, resources, and services.

Emergency Assistance & Fresh Start Bags

When a Gladiator faces a dangerous or overwhelming situation, KOI steps in. We work with the proper authorities when needed, help people reach a safe place, and assist with emergency shelter and essential supplies. If someone feels unsafe at home, we can offer support there and connect them with the right resources.

Our Fresh Start Bags are for the moments when everything changes at once. Each one is packed with the basics a child needs to get through a hard transition.

  • Clothing
  • Hygiene products
  • School supplies
  • Snacks
  • Comfort items

Court Presence

Facing a courtroom is hard for adults. For a child, it can be overwhelming. KOI brings strength, stability, and familiar faces to a Gladiator’s court appearance.

Our volunteers may stand nearby, help ease the day, or simply remind a child that there are people in their corner. No Gladiator should walk in alone or feel isolated.

Therapy Assistance

KOI connects children and families with trusted therapeutic resources and emotional support services.

When the situation calls for it, help from our therapy fund can make that support possible.

Celebrations & Community

KOI also shows up for celebrations, community events, and everyday life, not only the hardest days. Awareness rides, fundraisers, school drives, and community gatherings build the trust and consistency that matter when a child needs us most.
